Honest one shot: Baker Street: Coffee Cream by VapourArtisans

As the days start to get cooler I tend to gravitate to warmer more comforting flavours. Always having been a fan of coffee and coffee flavours I’ve been thoroughly enjoying a bottle I recently got from Vapour Artisans. It’s from their Baker Street line but it’s not one I’ve had the pleasure of trying in the past. The line is primarily bakery type flavours with this one being the exception. It’s called Coffee Cream and here is what I think of it.

Bottles/Packaging:

The juice comes in a clear 60ml authentic Chubby Gorilla bottle with a simple but clean looking label that matches the rest of the line but changes up the colour to match the flavour. It has a classic look to it and I think it matches up to the set nicely. The juice comes in a Max Vg blend and the bottle I got was in 3mg.

Setup:

Testing was done mostly in a Hadaly clone with a three core alien(3×28/36ni80) build from the Canadian Coil makers SaddleHorse Blues, 4/5 wraps on a 2.5mm coming out to 0.28 ohms and running between 35-45w. Using Puff cotton, RDA rinsed and rewicked in between. Click here for a shot of the build.

Coffee Cream:

Site description: A robust and distinct coffee with velvety-sweet undertones of caramel, that is intertwined with our scrumptious cake base. A perfect start or end to your day.

My thoughts: I do love a good coffee flavour, especially in the morning along with my actual coffee. With Coffee Cream, I get a really nice blend of rich dark coffee and you guessed it, cream. The coffee flavour is familiar. It’s not quite that dark syrupy espresso type flavour that I taste in so many others and instead comes across more like a nice dark roast blend with all sorts of other delicious things thrown in for good measure.

The thick sweet caramel really thickens it up and gives it a nice almost buttery sweetness that I’ve been thoroughly enjoying. Of course, it’s all complemented by a nice thick sweet cream which gives the flavour plenty of bodies and a really rich mouth feel. The whole thing is layered with a delicate cake base that gives it more of a dessert feel but still tastes like coffee with cream. Don’t get me wrong it’s a sweet flavour but not sugary or cloying, just the right amount of sweetness to perfectly compliment the mix of coffee, caramel, cake and cream. Fans of a double double coffee will likely appreciate where this one takes them.

Final thoughts:

I’m a huge fan of Vapour Artisans, they make some truly incredible liquids and still hold the title for my favorite tobacco flavour of all time. They have a huge variety of well developed flavours with something for just about anyone. If you’re a fan of rich dessert type flavours and enjoy a nice cup of coffee, this one might be the one you’ve been looking for.
