One of the most beloved vendors of this industry and this community has been quite busy lately. Having just recently released a new flavour as part of a new line of limited edition seasonal flavours it seems he’s already putting out the next new flavour in the line. I’m talking about The Vaporist and the line is called Seasons and the new flavour, Winter. It’s an ode to one of our most cherished seasonal treats, Eggnog. I was fortunate enough to get my hands on some and thought I would share my thoughts on it. Here are my honest thoughts on Seasons: Winter by The Vaporist.
The juice comes in a clear 60ml chubby gorilla bottle with a label that matches the theme of the previous release but with a few additional touches to really invoke the sense of winter. I love these new labels and think they have a nice seasonal look to them and this new one definitely makes you think of winter and the holidays. The label also contains all the usual warnings and information we like to see and the juice itself comes in a 70vg blend with the bottle I got in 3mg standard nic.
Testing was done mostly in a Hadaly clone with a three core alien(3×28/36ni80) build from the Canadian Coil makers SaddleHorse Blues, 4/5 wraps on a 2.5mm coming out to 0.28 ohms and running between 35-45w. Using Puff cotton, rda rinsed and rewicked in between. Click here for a shot of the build.

Site description: Amidst the hustle and bustle of the holidays there’s one thing we always look forward to, curling up next to a crackling toasty fire with a warm comforting mug of our favorite Yuletide cheer, Eggnog. Whether spiced or spiked nearly everyone gets a little nostalgic for that rich creamy holiday goodness. Our take on the classic takes a simple approach focusing on the thick eggy creaminess of a clean classic nog so everyone can enjoy it.
Profile: Eggnog, Cream, Custard, Dessert.
My thoughts: A good ol warm mug of eggnog is something I always look forward to every year around the holidays. It’s a tradition in my family that goes back as far as I can remember. It’s one of those nostalgic flavours that immediately recalls memories of Christmas’ past and time spent with the family. When Phil The Vaporist told me his next flavour was going to be an eggnog I was ecstatic to say the least. Not only am I a fan of a classic eggnog but I’m also a huge fan of custards which if we’re being honest is nearly the same thing just a different consistency.
With Seasons: Winter I get the lovely taste of rich thick creamy eggnog which essentially comes off like a sweet vanilla custard. A light eggy note tries to remind me it’s eggnog but with the way it plays on my tongue it could realistically go either way, which I’m totally fine with. It’s absolutely layered with thick creams and fragrant vanilla and if I’m not mistaken I even pick up a hint of meringue in there, adding even more eggy sweetness to the mix. The vanilla note is deep which lends itself to that vanilla custard taste which again I really don’t mind but some of you noggy purists might take offense, but I kind of doubt it. It also doesn’t have any kind of spice to it like nutmeg or cinnamon which for me makes it ideal all day vape material. And lastly for you fans of a spiked nog unfortunately there’s no rum in it either but personally I don’t think it would be missed.
If you’re like me and enjoy rich creamy flavours and custards are your jam I’d highly suggest you grab some Winter while it’s hot. After all this is a limited edition release and there’s no telling how long it will be around for. Another thing worth mentioning is if you’re not a huge fan of eggnog but enjoy a good custard this one could really go either way. Though it’s not the first or last eggnog flavour I’ve tried it’s definitely one of the best and I for one plan on stocking up before it’s gone!!
