Honest review time: T.M.G from Bargain Ejuice

Several years back affordable e-liquid options up here in Canada just simply didn’t exist. That was until Bargain Ejuice came along. They were one of, if not the first company in Canada to buck the trend of over priced and over hyped premium liquids by offering quality made liquids at affordable prices. They quickly took the top spot when it came to affordable liquid options where proudly they still remain several years later as one of the best affordable e-liquid options north of the border. With a recent addition to their lineup I was fortunate enough to get a taste of it just before it’s official launch. It’s called Tangerine, Mango, Guava or T.M.G for short and here is what I think of it.

Bottles/Packaging:

The juice comes in clear 60 or 120ml authentic Chubby Gorilla bottles with a nice clean white label. The label sports a bright and colourful badge of the fruity flavours it contains with it’s name or rather initials scrawled over top. I remember Bargains old labels and I must say they’ve really come a long way and look nothing short of fantastic now. Dare I even say premium? They certainly don’t have a budget brand look for being such an affordable option. Of course the labels are compliant with current regs containing all the good fine print and warning we like to see. The juice comes in a 70vg ratio with the bottles I received being in 3mg.

Setup:

Testing was done mostly in a Hadaly clone with a three core alien (3×28/36ni80) build from the Canadian Coil makers SaddleHorse Blues, 4/5 wraps on a 2.5mm coming out to 0.28 ohms and running between 35-45w. Using Puff cotton, rda rinsed and rewicked in between. Click here for a shot of a fresh build.

T.M.G

Site description: Lay back on a warm sunny beach with a taste of the tropics like none other. Sweet tangerine, juicy mango and tart guava are blended to perfection in this tropical vacation in a bottle.
Wake up your taste buds with this tangy tropical treat!

My thoughts: Mango was one of the more popular fruit options to hit the market this past year so it’s not really a surprise to see BE coming out with one for themselves. Of course being that it’s been crafted by The Vaporist himself I expect it to be just a little bit different from the plethora of others I’ve tried and different it is.

With T.M.G I’m hit right up front with a soft orange flavour, it’s more sweet than tangy and reminds me of the soft citrus kick of sweet tangerines as opposed to the shaper citrus bite of a regular orange. At times I get a slight orange Tang sort of taste which actually compliments the ripe mango really well, almost giving it a lighter sweeter orange flavour. The mango is bright with a classic tropical taste that really fills in the flavour. It’s not quite as thick tasting as some others I’ve tried which to me helps keep it light and sweet instead of thick and heavy as mango flavours oft can be.

The flavour finishes with a tiny touch of guava on the end which I feel adds to the complexity, giving it a bit more of a natural tropical taste. It doesn’t quite make it sour as it already has a bit of kick from the tangerine and mango combined but it definitely gives it body and a slightly more exotic fruit taste. For me it’s a new all day vape that’s absolutely perfect for the warm days ahead!!

Final thoughts:

Don’t let the name Bargain Ejuice fool you. The liquids they make are produced with the exact same ingredients other “premium” brands use but at a fraction of the price. With a wide variety of flavours to chose from they’ve pretty much got something for everyone. Their signature flavours are a fantastic option for folks looking to save a few bucks that aren’t willing to compromise on quality. If you’re in to bright fruity flavours I’d say T.M.G is a wonderful new addition that I think any fan of tropical flavours will appreciate.
